Alpha Game - Tampines Safra (26/06/11)

A game dedicated to our dear brother late Desmond Chua.

A minute of silence was observed before the game and we played with a black tape on our arm.

With two nils down in first half, we fought hard in second half to get back into the game and scored two consecutive goals in the last 10 minutes or so.

Behind by one goal at 3:4, Richard missed out a golden opportunity in front of the goal post to tie the game just a few seconds before the ending whistle.

Alpha Game - Macpherson Sec (15/05/11)

Another low turn up game due to travelling of some of the players.

We got a few guest players for this game to make up the number and it turned up a very evenly match game with the opponent.

First half draw at 1:1. And second half opponent and us each has own fair of chance but they managed to click in a soft goal through a header.

Great to see Trevor back after a while and he played a great game as a stopper. Appreciation to Edmund for supporting the team by introducing players for us when need arise and also on court side supporting us.

Alpha Game - Siglap Sec - (01/05/11)

A very heart warming game which we really pull up as a team and play our heart out till the end.

With missing some of our key scorers like Ben, Kent and only 12 players turned up, it is a great challenge that we managed to stick to our game plan and play tactically as per instruction.

Amazingly we scored in the early minutes through Colin, who has established himself as a forward with solid shooting and dribbling skill. The opponent however bounced back with one goal before half time.

Second half we created many chances but failed to convert them into goal and it is the opponent who scored their second goal first through a lapse of our defence.

After continuous attempts, we eventually levelled up the scoreline through Wan's freekick during the last few minutes of the game.

Opponent - "Kinta Ranger" is an family oriented Malay team with many family supporters cheering on side with them.

Great game! Great fight! Great opponent! A real test after two big win over the last two games.

First half leading 2:1. It was great we managed to weather all the challenges to win the game at last. Once again Kent top our socre chart.

Alpha Game - Sengkang Sec - (13/03/11)

Another great game with almost the same players turn up from our previous big margin win. But the opponent of this game was much stronger and gave us a good fight.

Captured on the opponent slow start to the game, we scored early two goals through Ben and Adrian. But opponet progressively build up their momentum and got back to the game with 1 goal through a long range shot.

But it didn't take very long for Chee Toong inking his first mark in Alpha score chart history by rifling in an first-timer shot just inside the penalty box and the game settled with 3 -1 at half time.

Second half opponent scored their second goal in very early minutes through a fast and precise counter attack and matched us well in many aspects for most of the time. The opponent did miss a few golden opportunities including one or two open goal.

But Ben and Kent hit in one goal each at later stage to give us a secure and safer lead till the end of the game. A great and challenging 5:2 win!

Alpha Game - Siglap Sec - (27/02/11)

An opening goal in early minutes and a finishing goal in seconds before the final whistle by Kent sealed up our astonishing 10 to nothing win at Siglap.

We probably had assembled one of the strongest team for the game. With the luxury of having Kenny/Alex as stopper and last man and Ben/ Kent as striker and forward, we were all set for fire from the early minutes. First half leaded 4:0 and followed by another 6 goals in the second half.

Definitely will be a victory that will last long in the Alpha record book. A 10 to nothing win at Siglap Sec Sch where we played our first game as an informal Alpha team many years ago even made the win a more memorable one. Thank God for the Perfect 10 with a Perfect Timing.
